RGMII with Switch Chip have big packet lose on Customize Carrier Board with AGP Orin SOM Board Orin

Hi,

We designed a carrier board for AGP Orin SOM, and use porting BSP 35.1 to support this carrier board. We modify spi and rgmii on dtsi and success enable RGMII interface with Switch Chip KSZ9477 on system, but that can get ip address from dhcp, but have heavy packet lose, any suggestion?

Kevin

Hi,

We don’t have a direct experience with KSZ9477, but there is one ksz9031 case working here. You may refer to it.

Hi,

Thanks your information, before we already add RGMII pin define on “tegra234-mb1-bct-gpio-p3701-0000-a04.dtsi”, and ethernet setting to above dts file that is why we can access network via network interface, but that have many data lose when ping other ip address. Any ideal?

Below is our DTSI file,
tegra234-ethernet-3737-0000.dtsi (1.9 KB)
tegra234-mb1-bct-gpio-p3701-0000-a04.dtsi (3.6 KB)
tegra234-mb1-bct-pinmux-p3701-0000-a04.dtsi (62.5 KB)

Regards,
Kevin

If it directly connects to the eth port of another device and set to static IP, will the ping work fine?

Hi,

We direct connect desktop, and setup the same domain, and do ping command, and same result.

Kevin

Sorry for the late response, is this still an issue to support? Thanks

Already solve it, thanks!!
