I recently switched from the open kernel modules to the proprietary drivers due to stability issues. The installed proprietary drivers (525.89.02) fail to recognize my connected Core X eGPU.
Attached below is my output from lspci and nvidia-smi on both the proprietary and open kernel modules, as well as my nvidia-bug-report.log.gz file.
On open kernel modules:
[zurrty@framework ~]$ lspci | grep NVIDIA
04:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GA104 [GeForce RTX 3070 Lite Hash Rate] (rev a1)
04:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation GA104 High Definition Audio Controller (rev a1)
[zurrty@framework ~]$ nvidia-smi
