Hi everyone, I’m testing NVRTX 5.6.1 in the ZORAH demo with an RTX 5090.
When I enable “Use RTXDI Indirect Lighting in Lumen”:
-
The SkyAtmosphere and sky disappear from reflections on reflective materials.
-
Indirect lighting on meshes still works normally.
When I disable this option, the sky reappears in reflections.
It seems like RTXDI does not capture SkyAtmosphere or volumetric fog in 5.6, but I’d like to confirm:
-
Has anyone else experienced this behavior?
-
Is there any setting that allows RTXDI to capture sky/atmosphere?
-
Or is this only expected to be fixed in future NVRTX/UE5 releases?
I’m trying to understand if this is a bug, a known limitation, or if there’s a recommended workaround.
