Hi There,

Need some guide lines on the following challenge.
A project that i am working on requires using the Drive Xavier platform to host Android emulator running AAOS and connected to the sensors such as CANBUS and more.

I have build generic AAOS AVD machine and when trying to run it, what is the recomended way to run it using hypervisor successfully? on regular Ubuntu 18.04 host machine it fails as Ubuntu 18.04 does not have the minimal GLIBC 2.29 version which is required by the AAOS for running.

Second, what is the recommended way connecting the sensors to the emulator/hypervisor so AAOS HAL will be able to interact with it.

Thanks,

Nir.

Are you working on an in-car infotainment project? Have you reached out to your NVIDIA rep about the project so they know it?

Yes,

I am working with our local nvidia team and Diana who is based in Germany.

Nir

It’s possible that Diana might have more information about AAOS support on Xavier, so it’s worth checking with her to confirm. However, based on my current knowledge, AAOS is not supported on Xavier.

Even in running in virtualization ?

Are you referring to running AAOS as a guest OS within NVIDIA Virtualization? It’s important to note that this forum primarily focuses on Linux as the guest OS, and virtualization scenarios fall beyond its scope.

Yes, that’s the main idea. In the documentation it speaks in running ivi as a guest is which I am trying to implement as a prototyping environment.
If this forum is not the focus can you please point me where I can source more information on how to operate guest os?

Nir

It would be best to continue discussing this matter with your NVIDIA representative
