In arch linux there is also the same issue, with the NVK driver scrolling in KDE applications is super smooth, with the 590/595 driver it feels like 30hz

so this issue is still present only for the proprietary nvidia driver, if I use an AMD gpu the scrolling in KDE applications feels buttery smooth, and if I use a NVIDIA gpu with the NVK/Nouveau driver, then the scrolling feels buttery smooth too!

this is still happenin with driver 610.57.04, and this issue doesn’t happen when using the Nouveau + NVK driver, and it doesn’t happen with Intel and AMD gpu, this issue only happens with the proprietary NVIDIA driver, and it has been always happening.

There is a patched version of QT in the AUR that kinda fixes the issue, but it’s not a real issue as most probably the issue is with the NVIDIA driver itself, as this issue only happens with the official Proprietary NVIDIA driver, I’ll leave the link to the patched QT version for the developers to i…
