Silent fan/cooling options for Nano

Hello everyone,

I tried both 5mm and 10mm fan for Nano and they both emit high pitch very annoying noise, making running the device in the same room where I am a non-starter option.

Now I have disconnected the fan but would like to know what options exist to cool Nano silently, either with a silent fan or replacing both fan and heatsink.

We are using aluminum metal block for cooling. The picture of it like below. Something like this can be an option for you.

How different is this with the stock heatsink?

Hi @invisible,

The thickness is different from the stock heatsink. If you do not would like to use fan, the only thing is to raise to surface area of heat sink. I just mentioned that you should change the heatsink if you are not satisfied with fan performance or noise.
