Nvidias documentation says that the Jetson Orin Nano is pin compatible with the Jetson Orin NX
and the Document (DG-10931-001_v0.1 | April 2022) Nvidia Jetson Orin NX design guide states:
The Jetson Orin NX module is compatible with the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX Developer Kit. The Jetson Xavier NX Developer Kit carrier board design files are provided as a reference design. Not all the Jetson Orin NX features can be used on the Jetson Xavier NX Developer Kit.
So will the Jetson Orin Nano work with the Jetson Xavier NX carrier board?
So okay. If there’s no separate Jetson Nano developer kit. And if you don’t have your own hardware for the module. Is the expected use of these modules for someone that is prototyping a software solution to use a third party carrier board? Or is there another solution?
How does one with a jetson module create the equivalent hardware of the jetson nano developer kit was, but using the new module?
“looking at the pinout differences, we would be losing some extra usb port, some extra pcie lanes, no sdmmc, all those comes as an extension to the existing xavier nx features and therefore are incompatible with xavier boards.”
