Greeting.
I can’t edit and answer in my previous topic, so I’ll leave the solution that helped me, here.
OS: Manjaro Linux
Graphics card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 2080 SUPER Gaming OC [GV-N208SGAMING OC-8GC Rev2.0]
Monitor: Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q [FI27Q-EK]
I have had problems with the monitor resolution since driver version 495 (the maximum screen resolution is 640x480 via DP-0)
Details can be read here:
I wasn’t the only one experiencing the same problems.
The solution turned out to be banal, I changed the firmware of my monitor.
There was version F03, replaced by version F08.
Yes, @generix , you wrote about it, but I didn’t find a firmware update program that works under Linux OS, I had to temporarily use Windows 10 OS.
The driver version 470.xx does not have the described problems with the firmware version F03, but it is outdated.
P/S:
I forgot to add, in Windows 10 OS, I did not have the described problems, even with the old firmware of my monitor (F03), the drivers that I tested under Windows v.460 + v.516.59
