For Academic purpose, I would like to build a home lab based on Infiniband. So I planed to buy 2 Voltaire 4036 switch and Mellanox MHQH29B card. But before buying all that, I want to know if I can stack those switch. By stack I mean like a “Ethernet way”, see the picture in attachement.
If it is possible, can you tell me the procedure ?

Based on you question, InfiniBand does not support active-active LAG (LACP) but only active-standby LAG.

Thank you your the answer,
So if I understand well:
_ there is no configuration to put on the infiniband switch
_ there is no risk of broadcast storm (or anything else equivalent in the infiniband world)
_ as I want to connect ESXi hypervisor, I will have nothing to configure because vSphere can configure itself in active-standby LAG.
(in French, so if something is not clear, do not hesitate to tell me)
