Hello,
I have a new installation of Debian 12 with a GeForce RTX 4060.
Nvidia driver version: 535.183.01
Problem:
When shutting down or rebooting the screen goes black, but the system will not shutdown and runs for ever. Only by resetting/holding power switch the system reboots/goes off.
Last messages of journalctl -b -1 are:
nvidia-modeset: WARNING: GPU:0: Lost display notification (0:0x00000000); continuing.
then repeating:
nvidia-modeset: ERROR: GPU:0: Error while waiting for GPU progress: 0x0000c77d:0 2:0:2540:2528
I could not find online any solution.
Does anybody habe a suggestion what to do?
