The difference between Xavier NX and Orin NX

Hello everyone,

We are comparing the difference between Xavier NX and Orin NX. I noticed that Orin NX changed the PMIC in the Power subsystem to power Seq. What’s the difference between these two? I need to pay attention to something.

I also noticed that the display parameters of the Orin NX are: 1 multi-mode(8K30,2×4K60) DP1.4a+ MST,HDMI2.1,eDP1.4. How should I understand 1 multi-mode? Meaning I can configure different outputs but only choose one? What does 2 x 4K60 mean?

Looking forward to your reply, thank you.

No need to pay attention to that. For custom design, only need to follow the power sequence as listed in Design Guide.

The NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX provides 1x HDMI and DP port. The HDMI and VESA DisplayPort (DP) interfaces share the same set of interface pins. 2x is MST.
