Dear @sunjiandong,
Could you check re installing gdm3?

Hi
After I run “sudo apt install gdm3”, it refers as below, and the screen still black,after I log into.
sunjiandong@tegra-ubuntu:/home$ sudo apt install gdm3
[sudo] password for sunjiandong:
Reading package lists… Done

Reading state information… Done
gdm3 is already the newest version (3.36.3-0ubuntu0.20.04.4).

Dear @sunjiandong,
Please uninstall gdm3 first, reboot target and then install gdm3.

Also, may I know if it is p3710 ( DRIVE AGX Orin Devkit) or other plaform?

Hi
Yes,It is P3710.

@SivaRamaKrishnaNV
After below steps, The issue still have.
uninstall gdm3 ,
reboot target
install gdm3
reboot

Thanks!

Dear @sunjiandong,
Could you flash the board again with sdkmanager and see it fixes the issue?

@sunjiandong
Please also confirm if Finalize DRIVE AGX Orin System Setup was followed.

Dear @VickNV,

I have the same issue, after the reboot the display stays black. gdm3 is running.

I might have issues with “Finalize DRIVE AGX Orin System Setup”. During the installation via putty (/dev/ttyACM0) I do not get the request. At which point during the installation do I need to connect via putty?

The output after the installation is following:

Thanks for your help!

DRIVE OS 6.0.5
native Ubuntu Linux 20.04 Host installed with SDK Manager
1.9.10816

Please try if changing a monitor as the developer.

Dear @VickNV! Thanks for your help! Via ssh I figured out that the platform runs like expected. In the end the HDMI cable was broken. Sorry, I did not check the cable, because it worked with the PC. But now everything is fine.

Good to hear you figured out the problem.
