Theory behind driveworks module Egomotion or module performance information?

Hello!

I have a question regarding the documentation of the Egomotion module (or any module documentation in general).

Right now, we are working on the localization and velocity estimation of our vehicle. For that purpose we wanted to use nvidia driveworks Egomotion module: DriveWorks SDK Reference: Egomotion
However, we are not able to find what are the theoretical background behind the module nor any data of the accuracy that could be obtained using it.
We would want to know either one or the other, to be able to decide if we should use it or implement this functionality ourselves.

Could we find this kind of documentation somewhere?
Has someone used the Egomotion module and has some recommendations or good/bad experiences?

Thank you in advance!!

Hi @inazio.caverojuste ,

The only documentation is DriveWorks SDK Reference: Main Page. Maybe you can start with sample applications, e.g. DriveWorks SDK Reference: HD Maps Localization Sample. Thanks.
