Hi everyone. Sorry to bug here. I got a new Jetson Thor from Arrow. And i connected the cables to the monitor and keyboard + add the usb with the software. But as soon as i attach the power the light is already on and if i interact with the buttons nothing actually happend power or reset light never change status and nothing in the display. Any idea what im doing wrong ? I really wated to set it up today.
The far right button in your picture, if you tap it should restart Thor. If that doesn’t do it you can hold that for a while and Thor will power off.
If that doesn’t do it then unplug the usb-c power cable from Thor to power off. Then, hold the middle button while plugging that cable back in. When Thor starts then release middle button and it should start flashing itself from the usb stick.

Hi @Igor,
For the Jetson AGX Thor Developer Kit bootable USB installer path, you should not need Force Recovery mode. Please try the documented power-on flow first:
-
Use the normal power-on sequence
- Connect the monitor directly to the HDMI or DisplayPort output.
- Connect a USB keyboard/mouse.
- Insert the bootable Jetson installation USB stick.
- Connect the bundled USB-C power supply.
- Press the left button on the button side. This is the Power button.
-
Avoid KVMs/adapters while checking display output
The Thor guide notes that some KVM switches or display devices may not handle the video output correctly. Please connect the monitor directly to the dev kit for this first check. -
Confirm the USB installer image
Please confirm which Jetson ISO / JetPack version you wrote to the USB stick, and whether the USB stick was created with a bootable-USB tool such as Balena Etcher. Copying the ISO file onto the USB drive is not enough. -
If you are using SDK Manager or host-PC flashing instead
That is a different flow. In that case, enter Force Recovery mode by holding the middle button and briefly pressing the right button. Also make sure the host USB-C cable is connected to the USB-C port next to the HDMI connector, and the USB-C power supply is connected to the other USB-C port.
Recommendation: Start with the normal USB-installer boot flow above and a direct HDMI/DP monitor connection. If there is still no NVIDIA logo, UEFI screen, or installer menu, please let us know:
- the Jetson ISO / JetPack version used for the USB stick
- whether the USB was written with Etcher or a similar tool
- whether the monitor is connected by HDMI or DisplayPort, and whether any adapter/KVM is in the path
- whether the Debug-USB serial console shows any UEFI or installer output

Hope this helps!
There was an issue with the HDMI that was not working connected to the movitor ASUS.
I attach to the LG and all worked fine. I did the install from the USB and now the system is up and running.
Tnks a lot to both for the help.
