Unable to flash Jetson Thor - Boots to a black screen

I tried both methods to try and flash it, first by using USB which went well till the firmware update till the end but after that device rebooted to black screen then by trying the SDK manager which also failed as the device is not detected.

I can see the device connected to USB when I run the lsusb command as you can see the screenshot below.

But when I try to check from the SDK manager, the device isn’t detected.

here is the screenshot of the SDK manager. Using the latest version.

Hi,

Please ensure that the device is placed into recovery mode.

Then, following the Quick Start — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide, use the lsusb command to verify that the device has successfully entered recovery mode.

Is this still an issue to support? Any result can be shared?

I am having the same issue with the latest SDKmanager in docker ( 2.3.0.12626 ) trying to install JetPack 7.0 rev. 1 on the Thor T4000. Boots to black screen in normal and when doing the recovery mode startup sequence. Also tried with the instructions given by the SDK manager to enter recovery mode with no success. When plugged into the USD port behind the cover I get the same USB device as in the picture above - 0955:7045. When plugged into the front non-hidden port I get 0955:7026 NVIDIA Corp. APX I also cannot flash and SDK manager says it fails at lsusb. I checked with bash inside the container, I am seeing the Nvidia USB device.

I managed to flash with 38.2.0 from a shell script. then flashed to 38.2.1 from the SDK manager without problems.
