Jetson board not detected in sdkmanager

Hello,
I want to flash the jetson AGX thor via sdkmanager. However, the target device remains not detected.
Could you help how I should connect my device to the host PC? Only when I connect the cable to the usb c dedicated for recovery and I reset the jetson device in recovery mode I see in “lsusb: NVIDIA Corp. Tegra On-Platform Operator“ but I see “board not detected” in sdkmanager.

Thanks for the response in advance

Hello @saman.noorzadeh1

Are you using a Linux host PC or a virtual machine?

It is an ubuntu 20.04 host.

Hello @saman.noorzadeh1

It seems that Ubuntu Linux 22.04 or 24.04 (x86_64) is needed in order to flash the AGX Thor

Please check our wiki page at NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor - NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor: Introduction & Getting Started for further guidance.

I hope this helps!

Thank you for the answer.
I installed ubuntu 24.04 and installed the latest version of the sdkmanager.
Still I can’t get the board detected.
Please tell me if my connection is ok?
I set the device to recovery mode and I connect it to the usb c (dedicated for recovery). Is that right?
In lsusb what I see is “NVIDIA Corp. Tegra on-platform operator”
I do NOT see “Nvidia corp. APX”
Is that fine?

Here are two photos I share.

That’s the debug port. You need to connect to the flashing port in order to flash.
