Trouble flashing linux onto Jetson Orin Nano

I’m currently using the Nvidia SDK manager on my virtual machine Ubuntu 20.04 to flash Linux onto a Jetson Orin Nano. Everything in the manager downloads fine but when I reach 75% on the flashing bar of the Jetson Orin Nano the process fails and states that the target hardware is in a failed state. I selected manual setup as opposed to automatic setup. Why would this be happening? This Orin Nano is fresh out of the box.

The problem should be in the first sentence from you. The VM is not stable when doing usb connection with jetson. We don’t actually support VM.
