Hi everyone,
On Ubuntu 22.04, I am trying to connect 3 monitors to my RTX 4090 via the display ports. 2 of my screens are DELL U2413.
However, 1 of the DELL U2413 monitor is incorrectly detected as “Nvidia” (see pic 1) with a 640x480 resolution. Strangely, when i switched the wrongly detected monitor to a HDMI cable, the display works fine.
I have tried reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers (580.126.09) but it does not seem to solve the problem. I have also tried to follow the instructions here ( Ubuntu 22.04 driver problems - #4 by generix ) using binaries generated from a modified .S file (see pic 2) but to no avail.
While I am able to move on with 2 DP + 1 HDMI setup, i would like to solve this problem if possible. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
