Unable to connect dual monitors, even though the second monitor is detected

I am on Arch Linux KDE X11
I tried 2 options

  1. Using the inbuilt system settings where it detected the second monitor of mine but when I tried to connect with it to extend my primary to secondary monitor, it didnt work.
  2. using xrandr, here is a small output of commands I tried for the same
$ xrandr --listproviders
Providers: number : 2
Provider 0: id: 0x43 cap: 0xf, Source Output, Sink Output, Source Offload, Sink Offload crtcs: 4 outputs: 1 associated providers: 1 name:modesetting
Provider 1: id: 0x27b cap: 0x2, Sink Output crtcs: 4 outputs: 1 associated providers: 1 name:NVIDIA-G0
$ xrandr --output HDMI-1-0 --auto --right-of eDP-1
xrandr: Configure crtc 4 failed

When I entered the above command it gave a black screen for a few seconds and then returned back to normal without connecting to the secondary monitor. Similar I also felt with normal GUI system settings method.
