Unable to set up Jetson Orin Nano

I have tried to flash it with Ubuntu using the SDK. I have tried the flash from SD card method. It won’t recognize the unit using the SDK app. I have been unable to use jumpers to force reset. Please Help!

Please follow the Quick Start — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide 1 documentation to put device into recovery mode.

Also refer to this section to check whether device in recovery mode.

I have tried to force reset the Jetson Orin Nano by shorting pins 9 and 10 using a jumper, copper wire, etc. none of those methods work.

Hi,

  • For the Jetson Orin Nano developer kit:
    1. Disconnect the power cable to ensure that the developer kit is powered off.
    2. Place a jumper to short the REC and GND pins on the 12-pin button header.
    3. Reconnect the power cable.

Do you disconnect the power cable before jump your device?
