Hi, i recently installed ubuntu 18.04 on a laptop with nvidia gtx 1060 and the monitor connected with hdmi is not working. A black screen is displayed. I’d like to know if it is a problem with any bug related to nvidia. I attach the bug report just in case. Thanks in advance

Already solved, i’ll leave the post just in case anybody has a similar issue. If it is already answered in another post, admins feel free to delete it. Some pc’s with nvidia have issues when trying to boot a flash usb to install ubuntu and a solution that worked to install the os was to type “nomodeset” in the linux grub. Of course, this has to be erased after ubuntu is installed and working.
