Update SPE Firmware from Linux on the Xavier

I have been able to flash firmware on to the SPE using the flashing script form an external machine, but I was wondering if there is a way to update the SPE firmware from the linux running on the Xavier. I was also wondering if this will change for Jetpack 5.

SPE firmware is part of bootloader components. So you can take a look at NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide : Over-the-Air Update | NVIDIA Docs

BUP should contain the SPE firmware.

JP5 should be, most probably, the same. But please check the doc once it’s publicly released.
