Upgrade to the latest JetPack

Hi,
I’m trying to run
docker/run.sh
from jetson-inference
but, I get the following message:

head: cannot open ‘/etc/nv_tegra_release’ for reading: No such file or directory
reading L4T version from “dpkg-query --show nvidia-l4t-core”
dpkg-query: no packages found matching nvidia-l4t-core
L4T BSP Version: L4T R.
docker/tag.sh: line 18: [: -eq: unary operator expected
cannot find compatible jetson-inference docker container for L4T R.
please upgrade to the latest JetPack, or build jetson-inference natively from source

Can you cat /etc/nv_tegra_release or alternatively, run dpkg-query --show nvidia-l4t-core ?

dpkg-query: no packages found matching nvidia-l4t-core
That’s what it pops up when I run dpkg-querey --show nvidia-14t-core

There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue any more.

Do you not have /etc/nv_tegra_release file either?

If not, either you JetPack install is not in a good/completed state, or it is very old. When was the last time you flashed your SD card?
