Hi, i recently reflashed my Orinx NX 16GB Devkit with Jetson Linux r36.4. I completed the setup on the desktop, updated all packages and restarted. But since then no device does popup if i connect the USB-C port to a host machine, neither Windows nor macOS show any device connected to the USB port.
Any recommendations how I can trace down the issue?
Many Thanks
Hi paulober,
Please try connect USB cable to your host first before Orin NX boot up.
Connect USB cable to host → power on the Orin NX → check again.
You can refer to
Get Started With Jetson Nano Developer Kit
If the issue persists, try dumping the dmesg log and serial console log on Orin NX.
We also recommend connecting it to an Ubuntu host PC, as the verified use case is to connect the NX to an Ubuntu host.
Hi, that didn’t work but here is the dmesg output:

I tried connecting to the serial console via UART but do not receive any output. I assume it may be disabled?
Also since the reflash, the Unit is constantly refreshing it’s IPv6 addresses on reboot.
Hi,
Which original version of Jetson Linux do you use?
What is your use case for connecting a Type-C port to a Windows or Mac computer?
Thanks
