USB-C port in Jetson Orin Nx is not detected and jetson can not recognize the usb stick that is connected to usb-c. lsusb result also does not show the device in usb-c port. I am using Jetpack 5.1.4 and Jetson Orin nx 16G
have you tried with oher USB device to confirm the USB post is working?
Better clarifying if you are using NV devkit first. And in what situation that it could not be “detected”.
For example, in kernel or in recovery mode?
I am using development kit. The usb-c device is working with other objects such as laptop and there was no issue in the device. but when I checked with lsusb and lsmod | grep usb in jetson orin nx, no thing detected relevant to my usb-c device and also the small light of my usb stick is off which means the device is inactive when connected to the usb-c of jetson orin
Please dump out the dmesg when usb is connected on the board.
this is the result of “sudo dmesg | grep -i usb” when usb-c is connected

Hi,
I don’t need your “grep usb”. I need the full log.
And please do not copy and paste a log. Attach it as a file.
Ok this is the log file

The type C usb controller driver directly gave you an error.

Your kernel built time directly told that this is not pure kernel image provided by NVIDIA sdkmanager/Jetpack.
Thus, to clarify if this is hardware problem or software, could you reflash your whole board back to default NVIDIA image and check if that would work?
Actually I have flashed my nvidia via sdk manager to the jetpack 5.1.3. Do you mean again I need to re-flash it?
Your log obviously told me that this is not NVIDIA image from sdkmanager.

The built time is 3/7 /2024. We didn’t release anything at that time.
And built location is not from our machine.
