USB1 to USB2.0 Hub in Jetson Xavier NX

Hi,
We are planing to use Jetson Xavier NX SOM in our design.
We need 11 numbers of USB 2.0 port. USB2 can be connected to a Hub(x7). For remaining four USB port which USB can be connected to USB Hub(x4)
Q1: Can we use USB1 as device mode instead of USB0? If yes ,please let us know how can it configurable.

Q2: If no for Q1, Can we use USB1 as independent USB2.0( We don’t need USB3.1) , so that we can connect USB1 to USB2.0 Hub(x4).

Hi, only one port can be set as device mode, others are host mode only.
USB1 port can be used independently for Hub.

Can I use USB0 for USB3.1 instead of USB1( USB1 is used in carrier board schematic)? So that I can use USB3.1 independently and USB1 & USB2 for USB hub.

Sure, but note that USB0 must be available to use as USB Device for USB Recovery Mode.

I am planning to use “CONN RCPT USB3.0 MICRO B SMD(part no: 897-10-010-40-300002)” type connector, so that i can access USB0 separately when required.
Please suggest is it fine?
