Hi am going to get a jetson nano soon and I don’t have a monitor but I have a laptop. I know just connecting an HDMI cable from my laptop to the Jetson Nano won’t work so can I download software or something to make it work?

We don’t provide such software.
And I believe your laptop only supports HDMI out but no HDMI in. So I guess it is not possible.

Most laptops don’t have expansion abilities, but if they did, then you’d have to install an HDMI capture card (and “capture card” is an alternate way of saying “HDMI in”).
You can get command line (text only) access at the laptop via ssh. Or you could install a virtual desktop server on the Jetson, and virtual desktop client on the laptop, and then have GUI access over network.
