What options can be used for installing regular Ubuntu on DGX A100 (not optimized)?

Let’s say that we have an old machine with one not functioning GPU. The user wants to install the OS which was optimized for the certain configuration but get’s stuck during the installation process and considers something alternative to a known OS. How can one get the system to boot from a bootable USB which contains a regular Ubuntu Desktop version? A user tried to install from a common bootable USB but the device wasn’t recognized. Thanks in advance!

Wow this is pretty advanced stuff, hardware wise. Since you purchased a DGX system, you should have a good NVIDIA contact to return to for technical advice. I would refer you to them, since they would be the hardware experts here. I am not familiar with the BIOS settings of the DGX system.
