What's the GCID in /etc/nv_tegra_release?

What’s the GCID in /etc/nv_tegra_release ?

It may be changed after re-flashing devkit, is it normal that GCID changed after re-flashing?

It should be fixed number along with release version. Take Jetpack 6.2(r36.4.3) as example:

$ cat /etc/nv_tegra_release
# R36 (release), REVISION: 4.3, GCID: 38968081, BOARD: generic, EABI: aarch64, D
ATE: Wed Jan  8 01:49:37 UTC 2025

We can see fix number for all platforms with r36.4.3. It is a bit strange you see it varying.

The GCID in above picture is from R36.3.0 (JetPack 6.0), not from r36.4.3.

Hi,
So if you flash to r36.3, GCID is fixed to 36191598.
