Hello,

I have initialize this platform connection by following the official instructions and successfully running some driveworks samples on Xavier A board last week
No flashing is operated, remains at 5.1.6

But I met this issue today that A board is no longer detected by my screen, (check on B is OK), by trying “lsusb”, IOs is still there. How should I handle this situation to get A board back ?
Later when I tried to scp .mp4 file to B board, transferring was always pending due to unknow reasons (my host is ubuntu22 for now), How should I confirm the connection is correct?

Thank you in advance!

Tingguang

Dear @tingguang.wang1,
Can you poweroff and poweron the target to see if it fixes the issue.

Is tegra A accessible via minicom and only issue with monitor display? Make sure you connected to Tegra A display port.

restart works, thanks a lot
about scp no response, I got same situation in board A
can you reply? thanks!

Dear @tingguang.wang1,
Could you check scp from the target to copy data? Does that work?

No.

here is what I have checked to debug the issue

  1. installed and enable openssh-server in both my host and target board
  2. check ssh status from both side → enabled
  3. ping target address IP from both side → OK

Either way, ssh and scp is not working–> stuck and connection timeout
Once I have a second PC, will check the scp to my host.

I found the cause, my PC is connected with WI-FI with different IP segment.
Ssh works when I connect my host via cable.
And the default password “nvidia” is not working, what else I can try?

Please try using “ubuntu” as the password. Also, for any new issues, kindly create a new topic to help us keep the discussions organized.

Ubuntu as password doesn’t work, should I start a new page for this?
However, I can scp from board side which does not requires a password.

Beside, can you confirm the cause I should keep host PC same IP segments in order to use scp to the board?

Yes, please create a new topic if it’s unrelated to the current title.

Same situation happens again (I did nothing), however, restart also works this time.
Can you tell me the root cause to it in order to prevent further damage to the board?
