Hello,

Our Xavier drive kits are not functioning properly. In other words, when we turn on the switch, the machine does not respond at all. We have tested external connections, interfaces, and all wiring issues, and the power supply is functioning correctly.

When we open the cover of the drive kit, the indicator light blinks as shown in the image below:

Similarly, we found relevant information in the files provided by nVidia, but we don’t quite understand it.

Therefore, we’d like to ask: What is the main issue with the machine at the moment? Do we have any solutions to make the machine work properly again?

Thank you.

Dear @jieming.xu,
I notice you reported this issue couple of months back Instability/uncertainty at NVIDIA boot looks like you could boot occationally at that time and we suggested to reflash the target. Did you ever try reflashing the target? Could you share the output of lsusb on host when host and target are connected for flashing? Please check if you can access Aurix/Tegra via serial console(using minicom).

Dear siva,

First of all, I would like to explain the flash situation to you first:In view of the concerns of our project manager, we have not been able to carry out the flash because we are afraid that the loss of internal files and information will lead to problems in the project.
So is there any other way to solve this problem?

Thank you.

Dear @jieming.xu,
As asked earlier, could you share lssusb output when host and target are connected. Also, are you able to access Tegra/aurix via minicom.

Is there issue with power supply? you may change adapter in case you have other boards.
