Xavier NX board with Nano Developer Kit board?

Hi,

Interesting piece of hardware! Will I be able to use the Jetson Xavier NX board with the Jetson Nano Developer Kit Carrier Board?

Hi kosmon,

The Xavier NX is pin-compatible with the Nano, so yes, potentially it could be used with Nano carrier boards.

Out of the box, which interfaces of the B01 DevKit are expected to work with the Xavier NX module?

Yes, Jetson Nano B01 carrier board can work with Xavier NX module.
You can flash the SW image by JetPack 4.4 DP version to get it working.

Please specify the interfaces

@roshan.dsouza - It is expected that all of the interfaces on the B01 carrier board work when Xavier NX is installed.

However, the Jetson Xavier NX Developer Kit is now available: https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/jetson-xavier-nx-devkit

The kit is in stock at arrow.com:

The kit features a power supply and WIFi/BT module so all you need is an SD card. Additionally the developer kit boasts an impressive thermal solution, I would strongly recommend the NX dev kit if you are developing with Xaver NX.

Why does the Jetson Xavier NX Developer Kit come with a 19V power supply if the Xavier NX Module can run on a Jetson Nano developer board (which is powered by a 5V4A power supply)?

Hi aast226,

That’s for maximum the performance of Xavier NX module.
Its performance will be limited by power budget while running on Jetson Nano carrier.
