I can connect via VNC, but as soon as I turn off or remove the local display, my VNC session connection stops working for anything but the active windows.
the background and the dock are not refreshed and the connection becomes very difficult to use

I followed the recommendations, but this did not solve the issue, as once the screen is disconnected the remove session does not refresh and it is not possible to do anything.
