Hello,
I’ve run into a problem which several other people here seem to have had, but could not solve it using the responses to their threads. I’d really appreciate any pointers from people knowing what to look for inside an nvidia bug report…
I have a Ubuntu workstation with a Quadro card that I mostly use for CUDA jobs. It is headless and I access it using ssh. However, from time to time I need to use a program that requires OpenGL, and I just discovered that the nvidia driver did not seem to work anymore for 3D rendering. I’ve deleted everything nvidia-related and reinstalled the drivers using the Ubuntu packet manager, but the problem remains. Worse – there now seems to be something weird with PRIME, as the outputs from glxinfo below demonstrate…
Below are a bug report and the output of a few relevant commands. Thanks for any help !
Benjamin.
