Zero Gravity extension in Omniverse Kit is missing

Hello guys, I can’t find the zero gravity in the Extensions window which is present in the USD Composer(Omniverse Launcher). Where can I find it or how to install it?

@kelsonmakyo i am just another user, but do you have a desired kit app you are working with? also, it’d be good to mention the version you’d like to work with as where you access the extension could be different pending on each kit version.

for example, in kit version 107.3.0 (kit-app-template), you’d probably want to enable the physics bundle first (disabled by default) and physx schema (enabled by default) and apply dynamic physics on the objects so you can disable gravity on a object level:

older kit, however, such as 106.5.0 (Isaac Sim 4.5.0 and prior kit versions) should still have the zero gravity extension as part of the UI (omni.physx.zerogravity) which you can find after enabling in the extension manager:

Thank you for your detailed reply.

Sorry I forgot to tell the kit version. I did install the 107.3 kit app template but i prefer the one that has the zero gravity extension. I just want to utilize the zero g tool for placement of assets in a 3D scene from other DCC apps. It’s intuitive and faster to use.

I tried Isaac Sim 4.5.0 but i wasn’t able to use scale gizmo when using the zero g tool, same as the latest version of USD Composer(2023.2.5) from the launcher. I also tried the new Isaac Sim 5.0.0 and the extension is missing. It seems the extension was discontinued.

As you suggested, I tried older versions which has the extension. I found that Omniverse Create 2022.3.3 has the most stable zero g extension - I was able to use scale gizmo.

We really do not recommend such as old version of USD Composer. Launcher is now depreciated. As js that old version of USD Composer. You should be using the lastest version, which is 107.3.1.
