8600 GT(S) Question

Hello all,

I have one question regarding 8600 GT and 8600 GTS.

According to NVIDIA’s web site (link) both models have 32 stream processors (this corresponds to 4 multiprocessors I suppose).
But CUDA Programming Guide (Appendix A) says that GT have 2 multiprocessors and GTS have 4.

Can someone please explain this? Error somewhere?

Thanks for spotting this. I think it’s a bug in the manual. Both the 8600GTS and 8600GT have the same number of processors (32). So I think the manual should say 4 multiprocessors for both.
