I am hoping to build/compile a program to stream multiple cameras on the PX 2. I have an Ubuntu 22.04 host system and was curious if anyone knows how to build for the PX 2 using docker. Previous posts about PX 2 cross-compiling seem to be quite old (6+ years) and possibly outdated. Advice/Pointers will be appreciated.
Dear @davidbatonda7,
DRIVE OS docker containers are not available for DRIVE PX2 platform. You need to install the DRIVE OS software on host and check cross compiling.
Thanks for the quick answer. Should I anticipate any hurdles when using Ubuntu 22 on X86?
Dear @davidbatonda7,
DRIVae PX2 need Ubuntu 16.04 to install DRIVE OS x86.
Ah ok. Do I need a Nvidia GPU or is a regular x86 system fine? Please attach the link to the hardware requirements. Cheers
Dear @davidbatonda7
Please see System requirements for the development workstation in https://developer.nvidia.com/drive/px2
GPU is needed if you want to run on Host and not required for cross compilation.
Oh that’s good to hear. Thanks again!
