Hi,

I have Asus Strix Scar G533QR with Nvidia RTX3080 + AMD Ryzen 9 5800HS, my current kernel is 5.4. I am unable to install Nvidia Graphic Card Driver.

Updating my kernel to 5.12 results in a system crash and a black screen on start-Up . How can I get the Graphics Card driver installed ?

What exactly is the issue with Linux Kernels.

My desktop runs 5.4.0-80-generic Kernel ,yet I am able to install Nvidia Graphics drivers,for RTX3080 based card.

On my Notebook ASUS Strix Scar G15 ,I cannot install Graphics Driver on Ubuntu 18.04 + RTX3080 . Upgrading the Kernel to stable version 5.12.9 does not help.

Which versions of driver to install and how to proceed , Please help .
