Audio2Face crashes after opening a saved .usd project

Hello,
I face an issue when using Audio2Face. When I open a new project, I can use the app with no problem. However, if I want to use a saved project, the app stays opened for about 30 seconds and then closes.

Steps to repro:

  1. Open Audio2Face
  2. Open a saved project
  3. Press no when prompted to save the current project dialog box
  4. Wait for ~30 sec.

Thank you in advance for support.

@gowonder16 have you tried to disable the Intel UHD display driver? you can do that via Device Manager > Display Driver > right click on the UHD driver > Disable Driver

Thank you, I tried that but no effect. That .usd file might be corrupted. At the moment, it’s unclear why it got so. For now, I created a new .usd file saved and opened it. The app is working fine.

It’s not quite clear what causes the crash.

What you can try is open that same file in USDComposer. if the crash comes from old a2f related nodes, then the file should be openable in Composer.
You can also try disable OmniGraph in A2F app by right clicking on the play button on the left tools panel, and uncheck OmniGraph, then try open your file.

the last few lines of your crash shows that audio port has issue. Maybe the the audio folder pointed in the a2f setup is corrupted or not compatible? If you are able to open the scene in A2F with OmniGraph disabled, try changing it to different audio directory maybe and try save-as a new file and reopen again with OmniGraph enabled.
