Best way to synchronize distant cameras

Hi, I develop a system that contains 4 edge nodes, separated by a distance from 10 to 30 meters. Each node contains 1 camera and 1 jetson nano or jetson orin nano. These boards do not have hardware timestamping. Is software PTP a viable option to synchronise the frames of my 4 cameras ? I need to be sub-millisecond. If not, does Nvidia have additional hardware to get HT on these boards ? Or does Nvidia have their own solution for this problem ?

I don’t think there’s a way sync 4 cameras in for individual system.

My understand is need HW sync signal for those four cameras to archive it.
