Based on the code, it show that the issue is related to the remote side on which the interface is connected to.
If possible
- Make sure you are using a validated/supported cable based on the latest f/w RN → http://www.mellanox.com/pdf/firmware/ConnectX4Lx-FW-14_26_1040-release_notes.pdf
- Replace the cable for a known good one.
- Move the cable to another port on the remote side
- Make sure the latest f/w and drivers are installed for this adapter → https://www.mellanox.com/page/firmware_table_ConnectX4LxEN and https://www.mellanox.com/page/products_dyn?product_family=32&mtag=windows_sw_drivers
The error you are getting already explains that the issue is related to the remote side as the adapter port is healthy
“Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx Ethernet Adapter #2 device detects that the link is down. This may occur if the physical link is disconnected or damaged, or if the other end-port is down.”
