Cannot pull any image from nvcr.io, 2024/02/02

It is 2024/02/02, 14h07, GMT+8.

I’ve succesfully logged into nvcr with my NGC API key with docker login nvcr.io.

On my machine, I am able to pull other docker images like docker pull haosulab/mani-skill2.

I tried to pull from nvcr.io by running docker pull nvcr.io/nvidia/isaac-sim:2023.1.1

However, it seems to fail with the following feedback:

error pulling image configuration: download failed after attempts=6: dial tcp: lookup ngc.download.nvidia.cn on 127.0.0.53:53: read udp 127.0.0.1:52093->127.0.0.53:53: i/o timeout

Please help me with this issue. Thanks in advance!

Solved. One row neede in /etc/hosts:

23.61.11.132 ngc.download.nvidia.cn

The IP needs to be retrieved from an IP search engine like: https://www.ipaddress.com/
