Hello everyone,
right now I am trying to install the newest blender USD branch. It’s usually stuck at the “Installing & Register” Stage. When I close everything or restart my pc, i have to delete the folders to start the installation again. But it never works. I don’t have Blender running or any other programs. Also tried it after a fresh restart but that didnt work either. Is there anything i am missing or could try go get it to work?

And this is the newest Blender 4.2 from our Omniverse launcher? Have you tried just installing regular Blender? Just curious but what is your Omniverse / Blender workflow?

yes, I already had Blender 4.2 installed. After that I tried installing the newest USD Branch. Which resulted in the problems i described.
I thought 4.2 was the newest version?
4.2 is the newest version for the Alpha USD Branch I am able to download. At least, that’s the version I’m trying to download. But that resulted in the Problems i stated above. Tried to download it through the Omniverse Launcher and it always gets stuck.
So you were able to download, but just not through Launcher? Well Launcher is now Legacy anyway, so it best not to use it.

What would i use alternativly? I’m reading that the launcher will be deprecated in the beginning of October?
Can you try restarting the computer and having NOTHING else running. Just really minimize everything except Launcher and try one more time. If it does not install, can you send me your install logs from Launcher
I made it work by installing it via the download from the website instead of the launcher. THanks for your help!
Yes good. That is what I was saying. Launcher is old. Please uninstall completely.
