Can't upgrate to 6.x AGX orin

Using the SDK manager both docker container 20.04 and from ubuntu 20.04 and it will not flash the AGX Orin. Orin is detected and in recovery mode. The same behavior on two AGX orin’s. Docker container 22.04 does flash but then system is in infinite boot loop.

Are you using the devkit or custom board for AGX Orin?

Are you trying to flashing JP6.0 or JP6.1?

It seems there’s kernel panic in your serial console log.
Please share the full flash log for the flash failed issue.

However I have tried all 6.x version with sdkmanager in the correct ubuntu version as well as with the sdkmanager docker files. Similar behavior on all these version “infinite boot”

And then when I reach out it was because now non of these version flash the Jetson AGX Orin anymore. So I now have tried:

Both boot to the Ubuntu welcome screen but no mouse or keyboard to continue setup.

From the log you shared, it seems it has booted from internal eMMC sucessfully.

Have you tried Flashing Support — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide 1 documentation to pre-configure the username/password?

Yes I looked at this but cant run the command in the docker containerERROR: Cannot find the Tegra software license agreement

I can’t find a solution for this.

I started all over removing the need for the docker container.
Now I have the infinite boot again, log file attached.

  • Installed Ubuntu 22.04
  • installed SDKmanager and try to flash (does not work)
  • Jetson_Multimedia_API_R36.4.0_aarch64
  • Tegra_Linux_Sample-Root-Filesystem_R36.4.0_aarch64
  • used 4t_create_default_user.sh
  • then sudo ./apply_binaries.sh
  • then flash

Could you use the following link as BSP package instead?

From the log you shared, it seems you have panic issue.

Are you using the devkit or custom board for AGX Orin?

I am using the devkit AGX orin.

We can’t reproduce the similar issue on the AGX Orin devkit with JP6.1 installed.

From your original post, you said SDK manager can’t flash the AGX Orin devkit.
Could you share the full flash log for further check?
