  • 13th Gen Intel i7-13850HX 2.10 Ghz
  • 64.0 GB RAM
  • Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada Generation Laptop GPU(8GB GDDR6)

Omniverse

  • Version: 2022.3.3 Release

Symptoms

  • Constant Crashing
  • Not Responding

Here is my logs:
At the end of this log you will see the crash is detected:

Any ideas on the cause? Thanks

Yes. Two things:

  1. Your GPU is far below minimum specs. A RTX 2000 GPU is not nearly powerful enough. It literally does not have the power. Even a RTX 3000 would barely open Code. We require at least 12GB ram.

  2. Your log is full, and I mean full of this line:
    C:/windows/system32/omniverse://localhost/drone_rotation.py

Whatever that is, it has really caused massive slow down issues with your system. Find it and delete it. But more importantly this address is totally invalid. It makes no sense. Clear that mystery up and it might work. But again your GPU is far too low power to do too much with Omniverse.
