Could NOT login the omniverse launcher

Hi, all.
Last night I resized my ubuntu20.04 via GParted tool, and today the Omniverse Launcher could not login anymore.
However, the same count is accessible on the other PC.

Here is the related msgs on the terminal:

And the launcher keeps turning around all the day with no sign of going any futher.

Can you help me with the problem?

I am also experiencing same issue. Launcher keeps rotating all the time with no signing in. Can some one please help on this!

There were others that had luck copying the nvidia-omniverse-launcher.desktop file to the designated folder location (Failed to login(stuck after logging in web browser) - #6 by michele.angelini2). @ShawnZhou997 @shanker4red can you guys try it and see if it can address the issue?

Last month I deleted some files related to omniverse from the File Manager and then reinstalled the Launcher.
it worked for only serveral days, and now the same issue occured.
The solution you mentioned does not work for me though…
thk you anyway and I am going to do the same thing like last time now.

by the way, the dev team is working on a fix to this. they are expecting the next release would resolve the log in issue from Linux users.

oh, that really helps indeed!

Is there any fix to this? As I’m having 100% the same error. All I downloaded was the omniverse-launcher-linux.AppImage

I have isaac sim running, but can’t get omniverse running. So I can’t update isaac sim to the latest version.

@bren1 not pretty sure its your answer, I tried to copy a file named nvidia-omniverse-launcher.desktop to the folder .config/autostart and it worked then.
as the following part goes.

For people, have this problem. I was missing a step:

./omniverse-launcher-linux.AppImage --appimage-extract

This will take the .AppImage and unzip it. Then you can find the missing file and move it to the correct location.

Launcher 1.9.8 has been released !!
