CUDA on debian

I have debian lenny installed on my 64-bit machine. I am gonna buy a CUDA-capable
graphics card soon. is it possible to run CUDA on debian ??

Best,
Pradeep

Of course.

In the following link, when i choose the operating system as ‘Linux 64-bit’, i dont see any debian version against Linux version.
The closest for my is ubuntu 7.10.

Or am in looking at the wrong place ?

The place is all right. The thing is that nvidia does not officially support CUDA on Debian. Try to look over Debian’s reposotitories (or whatever Debian uses for package management) or ask other CUDA/Debian users for suggested solution.

This one works fine on my debian/lenny amd64. I couldn’t get the visual profiler working out-of-the-box, though. Also, this post is useful: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=81840
