Cuda Toolkit v.9.1 installation failed on HP EliteBook 8560w

Environment is Microsoft Windows 7 with Nvidia Quadro 1000w.
During system check step, I keep getting the warning “This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.” Which driver is meant here? The driver already installed on my computer, or the driver bundled with the installation?

I upgraded my graphics card driver from version 327.02 to 355.85 with same result.
Doesn’t my graphics card support Cuda?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Your GPU is too old to support CUDA 9 or CUDA 9.1

CUDA 8 is the last one that supported your Fermi-class GPU.

Hi txbob,

Thank you very much for your comment.
At least, now I have unbeatable arguments for buying new hardware :-)
