D3D12, depth stencil resource, crash


in my D3D12 application whenever I try to inspect my depth/stencil resource (DXGI_FORMAT_D24_UNORM_S8_UINT) with Nsight ( my app crashes (not Nsight and not Visual Studio). This happens as soon as I select to view it in the overlay and when I select the OM state in the API inpsector (where a small preview of the depth/stencil texture should be shown). Any idea what could be wrong?

I’m sorry that you met the problem, do you still get the issue? if so can you provide more information then we can identify the problem?

  • nsight version
  • GPU
  • can we have your sample to do some local repro then we can identify the issue quickly?
