Display not working

Monitor: Dell S2417DG (connected via DisplayPort)
Mouse: Logitech G502
Keyboard: Logitech G610
Power Supply: 5V - 2.5A (microUSB)
Storage: 32GB Sandisk Ultra (microSD)
OS: Ubuntu 18.04.1

The system will go into sleep mode whenever it is left alone for about a minute. Normally, I can use the mouse or keyboard and it will turn on again.

Problem: Sometimes my mouse, keyboard, USB power LED will still be on but my monitor will not display.

The issue is inconsistent, it has happened when I first boot or when the system goes idle.

I have tried HDMI; different monitors, keyboards, mice, and power supplies.

Better dumping the dmesg when your display is off and share it with us to check.

Problem: Sometimes my mouse, keyboard, USB power LED will still be on but my monitor will not display.

Do you imply you cannot wake the monitor up?

Hi kayccc,

I wasn’t able to solve the issue but I was able to bypass the issue by disabling the time it takes for the Jetson to go to sleep.
